WhiteWalks Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and conditions are an agreement between you as the dog owner and WhiteWalks.com.
By creating a online account and booking a service is taken as you agreeing to these terms and conditions, you will be asked to sign a paper copy of this agreement as part of the Initial Questionnaire, by signing this, it is taken that you have read, understood and agree with all of them unless it is otherwise stated in writing on the signed agreement.
1. I understand that I have completed the above evaluation prior to my dog being approved for dog boarding with WhiteWalks.com, and I have read and answered all of the entries above and these answers show a true reflection in relation to the behaviour of my dog
2. All Home boarding bookings will only be secured once a deposit of 25% of the total boarding cost is paid, this deposit will only be refunded if the booking is cancelled in writing within 14 days of making the booking.
3. All home boarding bookings must be paid for in full 7 working days prior to the boarding start date, failure to make this payment in full will result in the cancelation of your boarding booking and any fees already paid will not be refunded
4. If you the owner collect your dog before the confirmed end date of the board you will not receive a refund
5. All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations, worming, tick and flea treatments. You must provide the Whitewalks.com with the vaccination booklet at the start of each board. You further agree to deliver you dog in a clean and healthy condition.
6. All dogs must be microchipped and the microchip number must be supplied to WhiteWalks.com prior to commencing boarding
7. Your agreement with WhiteWalks.com is upon a mutually satisfactory ‘evaluation meeting' taking place firstly in a public area and then a second meeting at our home prior to the board. You agree to arrange the ‘evaluation meetings' with WhiteWalks.com at least 4 weeks prior to the booking commencing, unless it has been agreed with WhiteWalks.com that a shorter period has been arranged.
8. In the event of any emergency where WhiteWalks.com are unable to proceed with the board we will endeavour to transfer the board to another boarder. We reserve the right at our discretion to cancel the booking and refund your deposit without any liability.
9. WhiteWalks.com will not accept any dogs for boarding that come under The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976, failure to declare information in relation to this will result in the cancelation of your boarding, You dog will be moved to secure registered boarding kennels, and you will be responsible for all additional charges in relation to this move.
10. If your dog is aggressive or bites during its board it will be moved to a secure registered boarding kennels and a transfer fee of £30.00 will be payable by yourself upon your return. There will be no refund of the boarding fees you have paid to WhiteWalks.com and any additional fees charged by the kennels will be payable by you.
11. We are happy to accept bookings for unspayed bitches, however if you believe your dog is due into season during her board you must inform us at the time of booking, to ensure we do not have any entire males boarding at the same time.
12. We are happy to accept bookings for entire males, providing they are not aggressive towards other dogs, You must inform WhiteWalks.com at the time of booking that your dog is entire to ensure we do not have any unsprayed bitches boarding at the same time.
13. You agree to supply enough food for the duration of your dog's board plus water and food bowls, bedding, lead and any toys which will help your dog to settle. If insufficient food is supplied at the start of the board you agree to refund the WhiteWalks.com any costs incurred purchasing more food during the board.
14. If your dog causes damage to our home or belongings while boarding with WhiteWalks.com, other than reasonable tear and wear, you agree to reimburse any reasonable cost incurred by WhiteWalks.com in this event.
15. WhiteWalks.com prefers to exercise dogs off the lead in open spaces to allow the dog to run and ‘sniff around’ as such we ask if you are happy to allow your dog to be exercised off the lead and ask how go the dogs recall is, in allowing WhiteWalks.com to exercise your dog off the lead you accept responsibility for third party liability and agree that your dog/s is insured (including third party liability cover). In the event of your dog not being insured we reserve the right to exercise your dog on a lead.
16. Although we make every effort to ensure your dog/s is cared for to our usual high standards we cannot be liable for loss, injury or death of your dog while in the care of WhiteWalks.com.
17. WhiteWalks.com always ensures the happiness, safety and welfare of your dog/s. If however your dog becomes unwell or has an accident during his board we will take him to a Veterinary Surgery. You agree to be responsible for payment of veterinary fees incurred upon your return. We do recommend that your dog is insured against sickness, accident, injury and third party liability prior to the start of the board. Signing this form gives WhiteWalks.com authorisation to take your dog/s to the Vet's if necessary, whilst also confirming you will either reimburse WhiteWalks.com any fees or pay the Veterinary Surgery directly, which-ever applies.
18. Photos/Videos taken of your dog/s during the board will be the property of WhiteWalks.com and may be shared on our website and social media sites. Should you not wish for your dog(s) photos/Videos to be shared please let us know.
